I am a Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist, with 10 years experience as a therapist, and I currently work in a London NHS Talking Therapy Service as a Team Lead, Senior CBT Therapist, and supervisor.
As a CBT Therapist I provide a safe and non-judgemental space to explore your thoughts, emotions and behaviours. Our experiences can shape the way we view ourselves, others and the world around us, and can leave lasting affects that feel impossible to break. My approach focuses on making sense of this, and providing tools to change patterns in thinking, building resilience and fostering a greater sense of self-worth.
I believe everyone is unique and requires an individual approach, therefore I will work collaboratively with you to understand what you might need in this journey, and to work towards reclaiming your life.
I provide trauma-informed CBT therapy online and face to face (Northwood area) and often bring in elements of other therapeutic approaches such as Compassion Focused Therapy and Schema Therapy.
With personal experience as a client in therapy I understand how difficult the process can feel. Trusting someone new cannot always feel easy so it’s extremely important to me to create a safe, honest and non-judgemental space. I will encourage, empower and compassionately challenge you to make steps towards your goals.
My qualifications
I completed an undergraduate degree with the University of Exeter in Clinical Psychology, and then a Post Graduate Diploma in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy with Royal Holloway, University of London.
Since then I am fully accredited by the British Association for Cognitive Behavioural Therapies (BABCP), and can be found on their register here.
